Two Metro Detroit malls say they’ll reopen some stores beginning Thursday after a nearly two-month hiatus due to the coronavirus.
Great Lakes Crossing of Auburn Hills and Twelve Oaks of Novi — both owned by international investment firm Taubman — announced their plans Tuesday as Gov. Gretchen Whitmer allowed stores to reopen by appointment and for up to 10 shoppers at a time.
Taubman says staff will clean the centers throughout the day, encourage social distancing and mask-wearing and close off play structures and seating areas.
These Great Lakes Crossing outlets will reopen for pre-orders and curb pickup:
Bass Pro Shops
Kate Spade New York
LEGOLAND Discovery Center
Luxury Beauty Store
See the website for more details.
Twelve Oaks has not yet announced which stores will open, but will list them here.
