Eminem agreed with the outcome of case involving the man who invaded his Clinton Township home nearly 18 months ago, the Macomb Daily reports.

Matthew Hughes, 28, was sentenced by Macomb County Circuit Judge Edward Servitto to five years probation and time served. He was released from the Macomb County Jail after serving 524 days.

While Eminem agreed to the outcome of the case, he did not attend the sentencing.

The Macomb Daily reports:

Hughes illegally entered Eminem’s home about 4 a.m. April 5, 2020. Eminem was awakened by the noise of Hughes breaking a kitchen door window with a brick paver. Hughes allegedly told the rap superstar he was there to “kill” him.

Eminem, whose real name is Marshall Mathers, got Hughes to leave the house, where he was met by security guards and held until police arrived.
