Detroit Free Press columnist Shawn Windsor is in the camp that says don’t trade ace Detroit Tigers pitcher Tarik Skubal.

The Detroit Tigers shouldn't trade Tarik Skubal.
Not unless a spectacular deal comes along. And if that means losing him to free agency after the 2026 season, so be it. His presence gives the Tigers the best chance to win next year.
As for the year – and the next few years – after that?
